Across the country, people are learning more about Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH's) and their effects on the people applying and in the vicinity of these chemicals. PAH's are a dangerous carcinogen that once was synonymous with sealcoat, but that is no longer the case. Pitch Black® is a high quality, long lasting, black-as-night sealcoat that contains 0.00% PAH's.

In an effort to improve the health and safety of our contractors, families and state waterways, we at Mix-Tek have been working with Clean WI to lobby our lawmakers to outlaw the sale and use of high-PAH sealants. We've successfully presented at City Council meetings in Sturgeon Bay and Green Bay, and we support the legislation currently being considered to ban these products state-wide.
